Have you ever noticed that most people make 8 pointed paper snowflakes?  But real snowflakes have 6 points.  This snowflake template will help you get the right folds to make a realistic looking paper snowflake.  Just cut off the instructions and fold the paper as shown.  Add your own imagination to create a truly unique snowflake.

Paper Snowflake Tips:

Thin paper is easier to cut when folded multiple times.  For adults there isn’t much of a difference but for kids there is.

A good sharp pair of scissors will also help make it easier for a child’s small hands but you’ll obviously want to supervise them closely.
